Wave Quilt Completed

with one comment

This week, while working CRAZY, CRAZY hours I managed to finish the wave quilt.  I first blogged about this quilt here.  I started this quilt on April 22, finished the quilt top on April 25 and it was 100% completed on May 3.  Not bad!  Just over a week to finish.

This one has another pieced back.  I like the way the pieced back looks and it gives me an opportunity to use more of the fabric from the front that was leftover (waste not want not!).  I am also terrible with the math of figuring out exactly how much fabric I need for the back.  And when I say terrible I mean i would just rather not put much thought into it ;-).

This quilt was made with the fabric line called Central Park, I think it is ADORABLE!  The back also has some yellow fabric from my stash.  I’m glad to be able to say that, I’m finally accumulating a little stash of my own!

And there is NOTHING like a rolled up quilt!  I wouldn’t store my quilts like this (more from habit than any other reason) but I just love to see pictures of them posted rolled up!

And since I didn’t make this one with any specific person in mind, it is for sale in my etsy shop.  Fingers crossed this one sells as fast as the first one I listed!  So share the good news, and consider it for new babies coming into your lives!

Ok, enough of my shameless plug, I’ll leave you with one more picture.
